Congressional Reporter (Dec. 2012 – March 2014) Covered Congress, focusing first on the Senate and then on the House Democratic caucus, conservatives in the House and the budget.

National Political Reporter (Nov. 2011 – Dec. 2012) I spent 2012 covering the presidential campaign. In Nov. 2011, I began covering the Republican primary, traveling for more than four months with Newt Gingrich, chronicling his daily campaign news. Beginning in April 2012, I traveled daily with Mitt Romney, writing about his run for the presidency.

Worked on a daily college newspaper staff in a variety of capacities including covering state government as a staff reporter, coordinating coverage as news editor and helping oversee all production as managing editor.
